The Fall Television Schedules...

Now that the main television networks have released their 2007-2008 television
schedules, with the exception of three shows, "Deal Or No Deal" and "1 vs. 100"
on NBC, and "Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader?" on Fox, i can't get excited
about none of the new and returning programs; I don't watch much prime time
television anymore with the exception of selected specials and breaking news
that may take place, i can see why many of us are surfing the internet these
days!

i've been that way myself, not watching too much tv. instead i buy dvd's of older programs, like hill street blues, mission impossible, wild wild west and other shows. i do watch breaking local news updates, not much on network news and constantly going through the cable channels when i not watching my dvd's and get on the internet, watching classic rock videos and other music videos of the past. getting other information.

CW is cancelling "Veronica Mars" and that sucks. Too bad CBS couldn't pick it up and run it during the summer again (they've done it before). :(

Actually, the CW is half-owned by Warner Bros. as well, so Veronica Mars could very well air on cable channels such as TNT or TBS....And what about My Network TV? What does that network have in store this fall?

I think CBS is the real loser in the Fall TV schedule because they canceled "Close to Home" over a new crime drama with a vampire ("Moonlight") and a musicial. Basically, all their new dramas are not that interesting to me. The only new shows I would like on CBS are "Kid Nation" (but I don't know if that could work on the network, it would do better on another network) and the new sitcom from the producer of "Two and an Half Men".

FOX has a great schedule and should do better next season.
