THE FAN... BETTER....

Spent most of the day listening to the Fan for the Wannstedt story.

Three noticeable improvements;
1) They are keeping callers down to about 15 seconds instead of letting them go on and on, the overall pace of the shows are much better.
2) Gianotti leading the morning show and Alexander as #2, again, the show moves.
3) This is the #1 story for the day and they are sticking with it. Back when all the big Ben nonsense transpired in Georgia, they'd do a segment about it and then it was basically, "Well we have to move on because we have an interview scheduled with Max Talbot".

Not sure how they're doing on days when there isn't a big story like this, but at least I will sample them a little more going forward.

I also noticed that bringing people like Starkey, Ken Laird and Jim Colony aboard
gives them just a little flavor of 1250 to keep those of us who listened to that station
on board. Also warming up to Josh Miller on the evening show.
