The Fan

According to the website, Dan & M-Rod are doing the night shift. But it also says that Pete Stein, Tim Cowlishaw and Keith Lebowitz is on the show as well. I didn't listen last night, and I was wondering if Pete, Tim and Keith are actually apart of the show?

So, let me see; Jagger a non sports joke of a morning show talking sports. A failed at ESPN, low ratings at CH 11 sports guy with his country bumkin sounding failed writer with no sports clue co-host, followed by a "I retired from morning crap radio in Detroit" Gregg Henson, who then promptly failed as PD/Host in Austin matched with New York is better than anything co-host, followed by Met super fan, and turned down for job in every market in country but this one Arnie! How many of those guys are from Texas? Mr. I kicked butt in Philly and Detroit thinks that his all yankee line-up will work here.....I don't think so big boy...I don't think so.

Admittedly, I do not listen much to "The Fan" morning show.

Yesterday, I listened for about 35 minutes. The only sports I heard was an update by a KRLD guy ... forgot his name.

Is that the norm?

For about 20 minutes, this group was talking about one-hit wonders. Recording artists you know. Everyone was talking over themselves.

Finally, I gave up and tuned to ESPN. M & M were interviewing, actually brownnosing, Larry King (Hello, Sioux Falls, Iowa).

Yankee? Are you serious?
I've never heard of either of these guys but I'm going to give them a chance. I"m not so much devoted to a station as I am a flipper to find something interesting. It can only get better than what it was.

Honestly, I don't understand the need for the hosts to be born and raised in Texas ... if they know local sports.

Who cares what they sound like. Plenty of lousy voices on radio these days.

Being entertaining should be more important than knowing sports.

A lot of boring people know a lot about sports.

I am not sure how people listen to the station, it seems to be getting worse and worse, and it started at rock bottom.

They miss the halcyon days of Ben and Skin now.
