The Fantastic Word Game celebrates 18 years

Hello everyone. It's that time of year when I post a silly announcement about an important anniversary. On Tuesday December 3rd, 2024, the Fantastic Word Game (TFWG as I prefer) thread on the Games board here at Radio Discussions will celebrate 18 years of almost completely uninterrupted bliss. Yes, this thread, from RadioInfo to Radio-Info to Radio Discussions and anything and everything in between, has been going strong for 18 years. There were a few months of loss a few years ago when these boards temporarily disappeared before being brought back as a separate business but we quickly came back when they did. Currently, we are sitting at 2,454 pages; more than 49,000 replies; and more than 2 million views. Lots and lots of views. Lots of looky-loos who look but don't play. Just a few years ago, before RD changed their software to the current 20 posts per page, it was 10 posts per page. We'd have much closer to 5,000 pages if it was still 10 posts per page. We were so close in our Quest to 5,000 pages. But it is what it is and we moved on. Personally, I have been involved with this silly game since Day 1. Yup, 18 years of Fantastic Word Gaming. But we are still here. And I'd like to thank Lance and the entire crew, both present and past, for letting us stay here and not dropping the Games board. I would also like to thank everyone who has ever played the game, those who play regularly, the part-timers, the one-timers, everyone. Please feel free to drop by and leave a contribution. Remember to use one sentence and one sentence only using the previous bolded ending clue as your new beginning clue. And feel free to peruse any or all of our 2,454 pages to see where we started, where we went, where we are, and where we are going.
 
I recall it being the Quest to 10,000 pages (TQTP10K, as memory serves), but yes. Hooray, hooray! We're well on the way. On to what, none of us know.

We had/have a Quest To 10,000 Pages (QT10KP). We had/have a Quest to 5,000 Pages (QT5KP). We had/have a Quest To Post 100,000 (QTP100K).
