The FCC Files

I see that 107.1 was just granted a construction permit today that will move the stick to a site just west of Cartersville to pump out 50kw at a HAAT of 150m. This move will blanket Cobb in a 60dbu signal along with a chunk a northwest metro Atlanta.

Still waiting on Cox to file a application to change 104.1's city of license to Greenville so that 95.7 Greenville can move to Waverly Hall. The Wavery Hall 95.7 will help allow 95.5 to move closer to Atlanta. I know something must be done about 95.3 & 95.7 in NW Georgia but it wont take much.

93.3 also has an application outstanding but it is being protested so it may be tied up for a while.

I thought I heard somewhere that WTSH wanted to go 100k/C1?<P ID="signature">______________

That is tied to a rule making petition to change their city of license to Aragon that I do not think has been settled yet. In the proposal they seek to force 106.5 Chattanooga to C0 and to move a vacant Lynchburg TN allotment away from from 107.1fm to 93.9fm.
