The First Cancellation of the Fall Season Is . . .

I think there is one other show on Fox that has been cancelled, or will be in the
next few days, "Hole In The Wall".
Looking at this fall's crop of shows, how many will survive until the November
sweeps?

Never in my lifetime have I ever seen TV schedules loaded with so much unwatchable crap.

Being bumped Thursday night by an extra new episode of "Kitchen Nightmares" is not a good sign for "Hole In The Wall".

Also not long for this world is ABC's "Opportunity Knocks" -- its debut episode ranked fourth in its time slot.

Fox actually gave the order for a full season of 90210 a couple days ago.

The latest 90210 series comes from The CW.

Well, apparently I was looking forward to watching "Hole in the Wall", but that show was found missing as FOX pulled it off the line-up last Thursday. Meanwhile, it was on against my favorite show, "Ugly Betty". I think FOX might move "Hole" over to Wednesday.

I think Japanese game shows are now getting very popular here. I think "Wipeout" is a good example, and hopefully it will be brought back within this Fall-TV season.

"Hole in the Wall" is the type of show you can watch for 5 minutes and then it gets boring. I can't imagine watching an entire season of it.

Wipeout hasn't been formally canceled but it hasn't been given the green light either. Last I read about it was ABC was pleased with it as a Summer run series and would likely return next year. Wipeout started with pretty big numbers but got immediately buried once Olympics started and never fully rebounded after the Olympics ended. The good thing I did read was there was no intention to make a Celebrity Wipeout which seems to be the kiss of death for any gameshow.

Wipeout isn't a game show but if they held a celebrity version of it, including Heather Locklear, I'd give it a look.

Worked for Howard Cosell! ;D

Not me. If that were such a great idea, I think I may as well support Heather in a Mud Wrestling match.

I do like Wipe out though, and the blind wall is a nice added touch for Hole in the Wall.

Maybe if we'd substitute "Hayden Panettiere" for Heather Locklear, who's too old and wasn't she busted for DUI just recently?
