The FM dial for December 22

I spent about 5 minutes on FM today to see what was going on at 97 Rock (96.9 FM). During the 7 am hour it was Norton in the Morning. Literally. He stopped in the studio to wish them Merry Christmas and apparently was going to be on TV today. So as far as I can tell, the new "morning show" is them just sitting around shooting the breeze.

I made my way over to WBFO 88.7, at 7:18 when I know they do local news. I heard Mark Wozniak, probably awake for the first time ever, letting us know along with Brian Higgins that the gays are being discriminated against for not being allowed to donate blood within so many months of risky behavior. That's the same story we heard yesterday on WBEN, minus the "discrimination" part. Then Eileen Buckley, the education reporter, letting us know the hood of Niagara Falls has a school to educate (indoctrinate) the autistic kids, and they get 8 students, 1 teacher, and 2 aides.

I will say the FM band is better than the Daily Rag, but not by much. Although with the radio, you can't line the birdcage with "reporter's" pictures. (Does A. Pergament even have his picture in his comedy?) I went back to AM after stopping by 92.9 Jack FM and 104.1, the only good stations on FM.

If you went over to WBFO at 7:18 in the morning you didn't hear Mark Wozniak. But you probably already knew that, right? I'm looking up hobbies for you on Google to keep you occupied.

People who listen to WBEN for 18 hours a day aren't interested
in facts. It's hard to think or reason when you have Rigor Mortis...

The reporter on their website says Michael Mroziak. I screwed up his name.

I don't care if it was Anita West, the reason for the post remains unchanged. I heard someone that could usually use some sleep.

Thanks

So, WBFO did a more complete story on the latest in the blood donation controversy (which has been going on for weeks, BTW)? Your comment about educating autistic kids being akin to indoctrination indicates the depth of your ignorance about both the nature and scope of the disease. Maybe you ought to watch this:

You might come to understand that these kids not only have hope, they have contributions to make to society.

The fact that nobody was yelling or evoking histrionics to emphasize a slanted point of view is a plus in my book. Propaganda is generally more entertaining than reporting, but then it doesn't require you to let those pesky facts get in the way.
