The folks who run CBS 101 are absolute morons!

This morning the legendary Pat St. John subbed for the legendary Dan Taylor. St. John leading into Bob Shannon clearly are a powerhouse duo. Of course you can't remove a legend like Dan Taylor from morning drive but the idiots at CBS clearly missed an opportunity here. Pat St. John should have been hired for afternoon drive. Then you have a powerhouse lineup of legends. Taylor for morning drive, Shannon for mid-day and St. John for afternoon drive. Then you could put Bill Lee on the night shift and Ron Parker live on the overnight. It's clearly a missed opportunity here. How do you hire a legend but tell him that he will only be allowed to work on Sundays? Like I said, they're morons.

I think Pat St. John has other radio committments and may not be able to take on a full time gig at WCBS-FM. I know he does work at Sirius and is now the Voice of Jack-FM on 101.1-HD2 and Ilikejack.com. I agree that Pat would be a good fit at the new WCBS-FM, but there is no need to call the management morons when you don't know the whole story. No radio station is perfect, but I think Brian Thomas and others have done a tremendous job since 7/12/07.

Shouldn't the station's HD2 channel then be changed to "Pat-FM"? ::)
