The Fox 2026-27 Season Thread

Still nothing about the summer schedule. Count me in as another trying to figure out if Beat Shazam will be on the summer sked. They taped episodes in early 2025 in Ireland, shelved them last summer, and Fox has still not sent out any PR on whether Jamie & Corinne are coming back.

Everything I check, since I've watched this show also, Fox has never canceled it and is going to return. But the question is when. Must be waiting on Christmas. But you would think that they wouldn't make any money when they put money into it to film and never airs.
 
Happy Murder In A Small Town is renewed for a season 3. FOX started summer line up a couple of weeks ago has to be due to World Cup that starts in a month. As Masterchef started ealy which is always mid or late May.
 
World Cup, I didn't think about that. Maybe that's why Fox is holding off on a summer schedule for now.

Fox Fall 2026 Schedule: ‘Animal Control’ Joins Sunday Animated Block; ‘Baywatch’, ‘Bob’s Burgers’, ‘Murder’ & ‘Memory Of A Killer’ Held For Midseason

Stability has been the theme of all 2026-27 broadcast schedules released so far, and Fox fits that to a t with its fall 2026 lineup.

While not the first time they’ve had live-action in the Sunday block, it does push “animation domination” to the sidelines as a theme. Much like the other networks to announce this far, and one can reasonably assume ABC as well, a mostly steady schedule to start the season.
 
Like the olden days when Married...with Children and The X-Files were Sunday staples. No animation in those.
 
I’m surprised by “Baywatch” being delayed to January 2027, but then again we saw what happened to “Fantasy Island” and “Get Smart” when Fox started these rebooted shows at Midseason.
