The Fox in Fresno horrible processing

In the last couple months the processing on KJFX , the Fox has been horrible. The lack of bass is very noticeable. It really sounds like you are listening to AM radio. You can hardly tell that it is in stereo it is so lifeless. Has anyone else noticed this? I realize they may be trying to make it softer for longer listening but with a nice sound system it sounds so poorly. This is such a departure from Wilks other stations, 104.1 and 105.5 which both boosted the processing dramatically after they bought the stations.

Are the target ratings being affected by this? The numbers on RR reflect an increase (I know from reading on these boards that these are who cares numbers to advertisers, but I have to imagine it does show a good example of the target audience.)

Comments are welcomed.

Whoah... shocked to hear that The Fox sounds like that!

I started as a parttimer on New Rock and The Fox about 10 years ago - we were over on Gateway. New Rock had ZERO processing, and then i'd walk down to the fox where it was processed to hell. KJFX had a great low end back then...
