"The Fox" Not on 96.7

I was listening WJGK's "The Fox" as of yesterday when I was on my way to the Bronx Zoo. I was hearing that WTSX is no longer on 96.7, as mentions in the top of the hour, it should say WDLC in Port Jervis, not on 96.7. I guess they moved somewhere in Pennsylvania to make way for WKLV's "K-Love". That's why WTSX is not on any station during the top of the hour. That's ridiculous!

Someone has posted at the NYRMB that they were listening to WTSX today....I thought WTSX is presently off the air ?

I was listening to a sketchy WTSX coming down the Taconic. A little bit better WTIC coming in on 96.5.

WTSX was just this week given a license to cover their move to Lehman Township PA completing the move from Port Jervis NY, to make room for WKLV move in to serve NYC from Westchester County. Perhaps this move is preventing you from receiving the station in areas you used to get a decent signal. My question is why did Sunrise have to make this accommodation. The two 96.9 stations are not co-owned.

my understanding is that Sunrise was paid to make the move. i hear the number was right around $100,000.

not quite, station was LMA'd to Nassau who LMA'd it to Clear Channel then when that expired about 5-6 years ago it was sold to PJ Radio who (as widely believed) was basically acting as Cox's puppet to move the WTSX out of the way for WCTZ. Sunrise only LMA's the station from PJ Radio. Which I suspect may eventually end as Sunrise primarily only cares about Orange County and little beyond and not middle of the woods PA.

I forgot to mentioned that I haven't posted in the last two months that I was listening to "The Fox" on 103.1 a few weeks ago that towards the top of the hour, you might hear the announcer mentions WTSX in Lehman Township, PA, and that's where the transmitter was moved from Port Jervis to Lehman Township, PA to avoid interference of the new "K-Love" which is in Port Chester, NY at 96.7. I guess that Lehman Township is in Pennsylvania, not New York, but try calling it Pennsylvania for nothing. According to Radio-Locator, it has an error to it when I check on the link:
