The Frontier Fifty

Talker Magazine has put out for the second year in a row their list of the top 50 media webcasters, the Frontier Fifty.

http://talkers.com/online/?p=4281

There’s some interesting names on here, some former terrestrial people. Eight are from Blog Talk Radio. Six are from TalkRadiox. A couple are from LA Talk Radio and wsradio. Still, does something like this actually help anyone? Is anyone going to read a list like this and think “Oh l we should hire so and so for my station?” I could see that maybe for someone like Jack Rice who has terrestrial experience but this list seems like there are a lot amateurs.

Any thoughts?
