Howard Stern was talking about the state of radio and mentioned that CBS was looking to change KLSX's format to some sort of music but the contract problems were slowing them down. I know that their ratings are pretty bad, but if this happened what would become of Adam Carolla and Tom Leykis, arguably the biggest personalities on the station? I think Adam could stay on with a music format but he would fit most with some sort of alternative station and Los Angeles has plenty of those already. Leykis has been in Los Angeles radio for a while so I wonder where he will go. I'm in Cincinnati and I listen to KLSX a lot, mostly just to Adam and Tom. I like the hot talk format but I know that it's an expensive format to run, especially nowadays. KLLI went sports the other day, and if KLSX goes too, then what will become of KCMD in Portland or WJFK in Washington?
