The future of the GE Superadio?

Just curious....Has anyone heard when or if GE ever plans to update the Superadio again? The current Superadio 3, has been around since late 1992. I've always considered it to be inferior to its predecessors, the Superadio 1 and particularly,
the Superadio 2. In fact. I prefer the Superadio 1 and 2, to the C Crane CC Radio,
as well. Does anyone have any insight on this?

This is a very good question. Although many prefer the
earlier versions of the radio, all of them are quite
good, especially considering the reasonable price.

I hope that they are considering a SuperRadio 4. I believe
that Thomson CSF, or their consumer products division, owns
the G.E. brand. It would they who make the decision.
Considering the large following the series has had, it
makes sense to update the design and sell some more
radios.
