Here's some speculation that seems weird bu maybe isn't - maybe 'BCN would pick up a show or two. Afterall, they've been moving more toward talk, and shows like Miller and Rhodes have, if you will, rock-cred.

After reading racoonradio's comment a few comments back...I suddenly thought of a format slogan:
"TROPICAL TUNES TO TANGO TO!"---which probably makes more sense than "all tango music---all the time?!"

A moot point as they're supposedly going to the new format (or a temp format, maybe all Christmas?) within
days, but the WKOXKS site now says TBD (to be determined) under that Sunday slot for their one local
show, Jeff Santos. Not to be confused with TBA (to be announced) which is what WRKO's site says for
their 9-noon slot. I would think they're waiting to see the outcome of the Finneran trial (in Jan.) as there
was talk of putting him there ("Boston Globe Reports That WRKO Will Hire Tom Finneran If He Doesn't Go To Prison", 11/15/06 radio-info)
other options for 'RKO might include some kind of local host; if they decided to go syndie there could be
Glenn Beck, or maybe even Steph Miller if they think she's worth a try, but I think they'd want to keep it local.
