The glory days of the Atlanta Falcons

I was watching a Hawaii football game from this season and my mind went back in time to the early 90s when Jerry Glanville, the Man in Black, was roaming the sidelines in old Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium.

Those were fun times. The run-and-shoot offense, MC Hammer and Travis Tritt on the sideline, locker room talks from Evander Holyfield and Glanville popping off great one-liners that would appear on NFL Films releases.

Who can forget the great Larry Munson calling the action "Falcons in Shotgun, Redgun..." with Jeff Van Note talking about an official missing an obvious call, "I don't know what that official was doing. He must have been taking a wizz or something..."

Oh, the good old days!!!!!!
