The good old days

Remember when no one fliped to a all X-MAS format until a day or so befor the 25th, I think the only station in Boston that would flip was WSSH WISH 99.5.

True but apparently some people like it--people who want to be "put in the mood to shop" and the advertisers
who want to reach them (Deck the Halls with Advertising, as Stan Freberg put it). Not everyone will be
pleased. I know the WODS button is coming off my car stereo and Walkman presents when the first
fa-la-la is to be heard, and I'll put them back on by a couple weeks before Christmas.

Five...tubeless...tires!

When it gets to the point that Christmas music starts to be played while the Halloween decorations are
being taken down, and people call/email the station to complain, maybe the pendulum will switch back...
