The Grammys Outside The Box

I'm watching the Grammy Awards tonight because I want to see how they'll do a live musical performance show in Los Angeles and still meet covid protocols. It's a little game I play. How do they do this? Here's a preview from the AP:

They're not INSIDE the Staples Center. They're instead outside, with performances coming from the floor of the convention center. The opening scene was pretty cool, from the plaza outside Staples Center, but also within walking distance to the convention center.

I really like this new presentation. This should be the way they do it going forward.

In memoriam was well done.

Reminds me of Sir Mix-A-Lot. You older folks can look that up.
Heck, they only did Elvis above the belt in his first TV appearances. Even so, my Aunt Constance "out on the farm" almost had a stroke.

And those that call The FCC have too much time on their hands. The Grammy's were pretty good like always I watched some of The Grammy's.
“All?” Do we really think this is 1972 and a throng of people are asking Mabel the operator to ring them TV rule folks in the big city because they got the vapors?

Surprised this Grammys shocker only was noticed by one media outlet.

Anyone have video of her take on "A-Tisket, A-Tasket"?

Because it's not true. I guess you're not familiar with The Onion:

The Onion is an American satirical digital media company and newspaper organization that publishes articles on international, national, and local news.

Here is Billboard's story on the songs she actually performed:
