The Great Davidson Media Group shuffle

Im glad to hear the Furman Paladins are staying on Earth 103.3! Hopefully they can make a run in the Southern Conference Basketball tourney starting Friday at 1:30!! Go Paladins!

AAC is the way to go on your streaming, yes ( CJ throws a 91AM WORD mid-70's t-shirt at Craig D ). No kidding tonight I found a box in the garage with t-shirts from places I've worked in gsp and the beach lol. Some still kinda fit. Scary... ... the player works here on firefox 19.0.2 tonight, so I'm happy :) Streaming is kinda fun, ain't it? Tune into people you know at their new gig(s) without leaving your chair. Keep rockin' - -

CJ! Awesome to hear from you. It is great fun to be restoring 910 to a locally programmed and targeted station. Certainly not the same target as your day but, it is alive and getting great response in a short time. Now being enhance with an FM translator on 105.7 in the Spartanburg proper area. Like all listeners, I love a free t-shirt!

Craig, what is or has become of 910 AM/105.7 with Earth switching over to 103.3? Just wondered what you guys were doing now? I'm assuming Earth isn't simulcasting on 910/ 105.7 anymore right? I live in Greenville so I couldn't get either anyway, just wondered.

FYI - made a processing change on 103.3. Listen how clean that sucker is. EXCELLENT separation and effortless flow of instruments washing out your wooffers.

Craig I'll tune in 103.3 to check out the engineering changes. You sound a lot like me in terms of loving things to sound tweaked but balanced. Glad to hear you made the changes.

Craig, just tuned in on FM and I immediately noticed a huge difference. You're right, it sounds so much better. It was very thin, almost mono sounding. Now it Sounds more like stations used to sound like back in the 80's before the "loudness wars" on CD's, broadcast, and pretty much everything else. I need to connect a better antenna over here in the Furman area but I could tell a huge difference the minute I tuned in. Good job man, keep it coming!

That is one mark of a great radio station that so many people forget these days, the audio chain! Great audio processing is what really makes a station sing, I have to say again I'm impressed with the separation. You were right, stereo separation is great man, very clean audio chain.

I so hope the other leg will land for Earth FM so we can pick up this great station in the Easley/Pickens/Anderson area, a great station and a great mix,

[EDIT-truncated blank space]

It was the extra "f" in woofers that pumped in all that empty space.

;D
