The Grio TV shut down?

Numerous sources are reporting that Allen Media’s The Grio TV has shut down. A check of the website shows all program information has disappeared. Here in Houston its outlet on KTXH 20.3 is now showing a graphic with “New channel coming soon”.

Anyone seeing the channel in your area? Or is it gone as well?

also gone in Dallas on KDFI 27.5, however, it's still on on Dish Network channel 360 in SD and a streaming HD version on channel 361, so basically, their deal on Fox O&O stations has ended.

It’s gone from KTTV channel 11-3 in L.A., but it’s alive and well in HD on Charter Spectrum channel 232, airing Diff’rent Strokes as of this posting. Will the cable feed eventually shut down, too?

That's probably a zombie feed, and a remnant of whatever carriage agreement the channel had in its previous incarnation (Black News Channel), and under previous ownership, with the cable system. It will go dark eventually.

Follow up to my own post: KTXH is the other half of the Fox O&O duopoly here in Houston. It was not included in the original announcement of Fox stations picking up TBD, which has been airing on Nexstar’s KIAH 39.4 the past few years. However at a check this morning TBD is gone from 39.4, which is now running HSN2. So I suspect TBD is coming to KTXH 20.3.

The same here in Philadelphia and it's been replaced with QVC

Just saw earlier on Cox cable here in AZ The Grio was still running. Cosby show was on at the time. Looks like the channel has given up on over the air.

The cable version was due to grio and bankrupt Black News Channel merging. The shows on the cable station wasn’t the same as OTA due to contracts. The OTA version was just Byron Allen programming.

Here in the SF Bay Area the OTA version is gone but the Cable version is on a different Comcast channel. Lots of Cosby Show, Jeffersons, Diff Strokes, Good Times, 227, and a bunch of black judge shows. All of which are available on multiple other channels. At least there's no "Funny You Should Ask" :)
