The Groovy Ghoulies...

SHEESH! That was awful! Hard to believe Dick Monda wrote this song for the show. Liked it much better when he released it as Daddy Dewdrop. He will be 70 years old this year and he is STILL recording and has a new album/CD out.

The Daddy Dewdrop Top 40 version of the song was much better then the animated version from "The Groovy Ghoulies and Sabrina."

Was not a big fan of Filmation Productions. In the late 60s/early 70s Filmation (and CBS) did major overkill to The Archies/Don Kirshner hype machine...and the many sequences used in the Archie series were very much overused.
(Jughead's goofy run and Archie's Model T going over a hill or embankment are examples)
