The Groz is retiring

My gawd
How convenient.
??? Don’t even know what that means.

Media people are public figures. They are putting themselves out there and it comes with the territory. I am retired from media so it is not an issue of convenience unless some want to continue to assault those who may have served before but why would you? Seriously. My gawd please take your attacks elsewhere.

There is some truth to that, yet even something like The First Amendment has limitations.

Saying they owe it to us because of their job is wrong. Because Grosby opines on the radio is not a license to know everything about him. Grosby chooses to be open about his health and parts of his personal life. Marco Collins chose to go public over his cancer battle and multiple drug addictions. Steve Pool chose to go public about his cancer fight.

It's hard, if not impossible, to be Radio or TV talent and be gone for weeks or months without something being noticed. That's primarily why the aforementioned people came out with their personal battles (and are to be applauded for their personal and professional courage and demeanor).

To say in a blanket manner they are required to reveal their private life is crap. That absurd opinion is what is being attacked.
