THE H-MAN COMETH

I recently saw a story about an upcoming movie (2010), The H-Man Cometh, in which Vince Vaughn plays a sarcastic radio talk show host who starts assuming the personalities of his callers. I don't listen to Buddy, Dan, or Matt enough to have a handle on the regulars, but think of the possibilities if this scenario became reality. Mrs Joy, you listen to WPRO 24/7 & must know what the repeat callers are like. Take it away!

That would be either a call screener's worst nightmare or wet dream.

Yes, I kind of almost think of some of them as my buddies. Some are such "Know it Alls" but then when they don't call, I miss hearing them.
I often wonder why the ones that know it all don't run for office themselves and fix things the way they would like to see them run.
I think the guys on WPRO can take care of the sarcastic people very well. I love to hear when Dan & Matt tackle the really fresh callers.

I listen all morning to the other two (or three) guys, but I'm not a great big fan of either show. JD never lets anyone really talk (as he just talks over them) or else, tries making jokes over them.

The other guy is just too big for his britches or my taste, but I still find him interesting at times.

Let me see if I can borrow a few million and we'll make a movie of our own about sarcastic hosts and callers.

A talk show host who flips out and starts taking on the callers' personalities? Good chance for an evil call screener/producer to let the most dysfunction people imaginable on the air. It could be worse. Imagine callers taking on the personalities of the hosts. I'd extend this nightmare to jocks taking calls from regulars but more often than not there's nobody taking calls. Do split personalities work in e-mail?
