So did anyone who posts here attend?Did anything entertaining happen?

It was a fun night, and I thought it gave the attendees (about 300) a chance to reminisce a bit over the "good ol' days" of radio in RI. We had several comments from folks who enjoyed the audio clips played to introduce each of the inductees, and believe it or not - acceptance speeches were kept to a reasonable length! Maybe a new record for radio people at a podium!

Frank Coletta of Channel 10 served as the emcee...and did a great job! HJY had a video tribute to Paul & Al that was well done, as did Cardi's famed Ni-Ro-Pe, who put together a wonderful presentation for Salty Brine. If you'd like to listen to those clips, and find out more about the RIRHOF, here's the website:

Feel free to email me with questions or comments, or simply reply to this post...I do check in from time to time!

John,
It was a great and entertaining evening! Thanks to you, Coach and the rest of the board for putting together such a entertaining night.

In case you're interested - or maybe you'd just like to see what went on - photos from the induction ceremony at Rhodes-on-the-Pawtuxet are now up on the RIRHOF website:

Audio clips from the inductees are included - so if you haven't heard what some of these folks sound like, you should. Some of the best. And there are more to come - feedback is welcome!
