The Herd does NOT make Talkers' Top 100!!

I wouldn't lose any sleep. The list is self-congratulatory and mostly designed to keep up a stream of advertising in the magazine from talk syndicators. You don't have to go very deep on the list to find some marginal talent.

In the magazine they publish a longer list beyond the 100 which basically includes anyone sitting in proximity to a microphone anyplace in America.

Right!

Yeah, but any list that has Mancow in the top 20, already loses its credibility.

Whether you like him or not, Cowherd is heard nationwide and viewed nationwide on ESPN with SportsNation. In my opinion, he's way better than that clown Scott Van Pelt, or even worse, Freddie Coleman.

Just look at the show in the 80's on that top 100, free talk live. Apparently Talkers is whoring out to any lame podcast that has money to spend.

Interesting that Bob & Tom make it even though they are heard on Rock music stations. Are they truly just Talk in the morning? What about Mark & Brian, Kevin & Bean? Seacrest and Big Boy are mostly talk, too. I guess this is an English language only list.

Re: Bob and Tom, Premier lists it on their web site under the talk menu selection. Seacrest is under entertainment, so that might be a clue.

Mark and Brian and Keven and Bean are English so that part of your comment puzzled me. I never listen to Seacrest or Big Boy on a regular basis but I always heard English there too, do they do Spanish versions? ;D

this list is political and really weak. Car Talk isn't on the list, but some guy in fargo is. The Herd isn't but a local host in Las Vegas is. You telling me the morning guys in Dallas on the ticket, who get a 10.5 rating miss the cut, so do Kevin and Bean, but the sports junkies get the nod. Who can take this seriously. Nobody. I dont have one client who even advertises in that magazine and i work with several radio groups.
