Hornet, You're good on 1,2,3,5, and 7. Try again on 6 and 8. 4 is a real teaser, do you need a hint?

I need a hint on all three.........
Hint for the #4 teaser:
The group name: a drink (think adult beverage)
The record label: Duke-Peacock Records, subsidiary of “Backbeat”
The nonsense chant is not predominant, it is covered by the lead vocal, but is clearly there if you listen for it, and it is very prominent on the closing fadeout.

Hint for #6:
R&R was all about love and teenagers in the 50s.

Hint for #8:
Group: An all white quintet from New York. Uptempo, said to be fastest doowop on record.
Opens with a manic multisyllabic bass intro; followed by falsetto lead and rhythmic background vocals, and a strong sax break.

Back to fantasy programming for a moment, dreaming is also fantasy, and there are a number of goodies that pertain to dreaming:

A Wonderful Dream, by The Majors (speaking of doo-wopp)
Dream Lover, by Bobby Darin
I Like Dreamin', by Kenny Nolan
Daydream, by The Lovin' Spoonful
Dreamin', by Johnny Burnett

this quiz is giving me nightmares....I think #6 is "Why Do Fools fall in Love - Frankie Lymon and the Teenagers..I give-up on 4 and 8.

Dreams Of The Everyday House Wife - Glen Campbell
I Can Dream Can I - Skyliners and Andrew Sisters
Dreamy Eyes - Johnny Tillotson
All I Have To Do Is Dream - E Bros
Sweet Dreams - Patsy Cline and Tommy McCalain
I Found A Dream - Rosie and the Originals

Dream Weaver - Gary Wright
Dream On - Aerosmith
Life Is But a Dream - The Harptones

In Dreams - Roy Orbison
California Dreamin' - The Mamas & Papas
Sweet Dreams - The Eurythmics
