The Holiday Lite

The "Holiday Lite" will get their ratings boost when the PPM ratings come out in January. THEN they peddle those ratings to prospective clients saying "LOOK HOW GREAT WE DID IN THIS BOOK!". The sad part is those listeners are gone and the ratings/share are what they were before they make the switch. How can they do this? There should be an FCC rule governing sales of misleading ratings...not what you pulled in for 45 days pre-Christmas. Sad...corporate radio ruining our industry for a buck or three.

Thank GOD for 100.3 and 105.9. I hope they get a ratings boost from other people turning OUT the "lite". LOL

A professional media buyer dumb enough to not be aware of exactly what they're looking at and exactly what they're buying deserves whatever they end up with. Anyone making a February buy based on numbers from a "temporary format" in December is in the wrong line of work.

The "holiday demo" buy is made before the flip....(by people who don't have to guess at the date the flip will take place).
