The Host Of "SNL" On 2/27 Is...

It would be kinda nice if Amanda Bynes could host it! As for Betty White, I loved her turn in the Snickers Super Bowl commercial!
 
Where's Abe Vigoda to host SNL? Heck, how about Yogi Berra hosting the ESPY Awards?

Betty White was hilarious on the Comedy Central Roast of William Shatner. That was filmed back in 2006.
 
So is there still a chance for Betty on SNL this season? That would be great.

In addition to her sitcom roles (Mary Tyler Moore, Golden Girls), Betty made frequent comedic appearances on the old Tonight Show with Carson. All were supurb. There is no question she would "kill" on SNL.
 
Betty White is the anti-Dick Clark. She was always old - and never changed. Dick Clark was young for most of his life, until somebody told him HE was old. Just don't tell Betty White, she's liable to be like that episode of Star Trek -TOS when they aged rapidly.

I think it is the real life version of "Weekend at Bernies" - they are probably using the cut MTM scenes over and over again. Great editing... :D

I believe that was the game where Tommy Maddox almost got into a fistfight with his kicker. The guy had missed a couple of kicks and they had a mike on Maddox which caught him live, telling his coach that he should not try another field goal because this guy could never make it. The XFL did have it's moments.
