The Howie Carr Show

I heard Howie Carr do what sounded like a network cutaway today about 5:55PM.

He ended a call and said "You're listening to the new Howie Carr Show"...and then he went on to another caller.

What's with the "new"?

Is there a new syndication effort underway?

Is SupeRadio still syndicating them?

I had heard some syndication changes were coming....

Anyone shed some light on this?

look, howie's had it with julie & jason, you can hear it if you heard the show this week, he's done with 'rko...

plus, she's killing his syndication deal and why should he stick around while julie & jason fail??

so where does he go next???

There's nowhere FOR him to go, it's Howie being a blowhard. He will go nowhere, he'll take it and get paid. Plus Howie's syndication has been torpedoed by one person: HOWIE.

He'll stick around at 'RKO due to his ratings and if he ever did leave, voluntarily or not, someone else
like WTKK would grab him. If the likes of Barnicle can bounce back (with radio & newspaper jobs)...
and Howie hasn't even had a plagiarism scandal.

If he did he wouldn't do it before getting another job lined up, and where? Greater Media's WTKK? Only if they
had him replace Michael Graham and I don't know if he'd like those hours. I think the odds of him leaving WRKO
are more unlikely than those of WRKO re-hiring DePetro. 'BZ? Hmm...but who knows.

Oh, that's right we have established that cable access and a blog that nobody reads do not count as "work". I am in radio because I want to work in radio. Im not looking to work in TV, thank you.
