The Jaguars: The Best Team... Jacksonville Isn't Watching!

Today's Florida Times-Union reported the possibility of a fourth home blackout for the Jacksonville Jaguars could become a reality, unless 750 non-premium tickets are sold before 1 pm this afternoon.

Though in a twist, the article notes: "Games against the Atlanta Falcons (Sept. 16), Houston Texans (Oct. 14) and Buffalo Bills (Nov. 25) were blacked out earlier this season. The Jaguars are 3-0 in games not aired on local television." Makes you almost not want to go to the game on Sunday if you're a Jags fan!

In other news, according to the NFL Maps page, the great Pat Summerall has been tapped to call the Rams-Bengals game for Fox this Sunday (which, since it will be played in Cincinnati, likely won't be blacked out ;D ).
 
Here's wishing the legendary Pat Summerall the best. The last Super Bowl he called, sadly, was not.
 
No blackout for Jaguars this week

Game is sold out and will be on Fox30 in JAX per the Florida Times-Union.

BTW, the Buffalo Bills face a blackout but got an extension from the NFL to 1 PM ET tomorrow (12/7).
 
JAX gets HD -- BUF and CIN won't

Rams-Bengals will not be in HD but in analog Widescreen. Sorry, Summerall groupies!

Dolphins-Bills also will not air in HD.

OTOH Fox51 in Ocala/Gainesville will now get the Panthers-Jaguars game.
