In a content sharing arrangement, 1050 ESPN/WEPN's Jared Max is going to be providing sports updates on 1130 WBBR's morning programming, which starts at 5 AM. Jared currently does a very early morning show on 1050, which itself started at 5 AM, until it expanded to two hours and a 4 AM start just a few weeks ago. I guess any updates for WBBR that he would take care of in the 5 AM hour, Jared will probably knock it out during a long WEPN stopset. (Interestingly, Disney-owned WABC/7 just recently started tapping into the resources of its corporate cable cousin for sports updates during "Eyewitness News This Morning.")
Meanwhile, no truth to the rumor that John Sterling will start doing Yankees reports for the gospel station.
