The journeys of late-comer Vs

Some VHF stations didn't first sign on until 1960 or later. In the small markets, that was probably because of economics. But to cite one example, WQAD ch 8 at Moline IL, channel 8 was dropped in in the early 60s after bouncing around various central Illinois locales during the 50s.

What other VHF stations started in the late 50s/early 60s as the result of lengthy court challenges or drop-in proceedings?
