Looks like BIG DICK D has left WALY mornings and Jay Parks (Jerome Epple) is KC's new partner.
How ironic. There is Caleb James who leaves radio to continue work at Value City Furniture and Jay/Jerome who leaves Wolf Furniture to go back into radio.
Now the question is....did Dick get fired or are they moving him,as rumored, to WFBG? I doubt that Carol would say bye-bye to his ad agency revenue. That is the only thing keeping him there.
I hope somebody sits Jay down and explains that the days of the terrible, fake, syrupy radio voice are long over. It would be nice if he'd just talk like a regular human being and maybe people could relate a little better.

LOL!
I would love to hear him do the news on Monday. It should prove quite interesting, but since they are not streaming online anymore, I am out of luck.
Don't get me wrong, Jay is a nice guy, but I can remember back to the 80s of his on air delivery style.
As usual, you're "right on" again Satelite Man. Do you mind if I call you "dish" for short? How about this: partner Jerome Apple aka Roger Ribbit aka Jay Parks with Roger Korky. Talk about jamming up the circuits. The real "Ron Radio" would have to change his name!
This is Dish, I like that! Speaking of Roger Quarry...Is he still in that band or did he get the boot from that as well? I think the name of the group was something like 'My Old Friends' or something.
uh, I think you're thinking of the Quarrymen which was the original name of the Beatles. Rumor has it that one more and possibly two longtime Forever employees will soon be getting the boot. One in programming for sure, the other, if it goes down, in sales. Both in the Altoona market.
