The Kross is changing!

If this is true, than it's sad news. Rock was too narrow of a nitch for them anyways! I've never understood why they didn't go CHR? There's a lot of GOOD music between Christian AC and Rock that is still missing in Tulsa. I knew something was up when more people that I know in B.A. listened to Air 1 over The Kross! I hope Scott is going no where, he's an excellent talent.

It's with great saddness that after 4+ years it is time to say goodbye to the Kross. Thank you to everyone that listened and supported the station! A special thanks to the DJs that made it happen, Scott Herrold, Josh Ashton, Ray "In the Mid-Day", Jack Davis, James, Danny, and Cody Jr. 100.3 will now focus on Muskogee more and deliver the music of sister station KXOJ.

Hallelujah, Praise the lord can I get an Amen around here.

This explains it.

The music of KXOJ with local promotions and a uniquely Muskogee spot load.

Hats off to the jocks, promotions and programming staff of the Kross.

They made a really good sounding Rock-leaning CHR with VERY limited resources.

I thought the imaging was especially good. Too bad no one could hear it.

"Oh my God! You killed the Kross!" (Stan)

"You B******s!" (Kyle)

"Holy poop on a stick!"

I hope they've got all their i's dotted and t's KROSSed on the big switch!

;)

Thanks, Junior2 for the kind words. I was there at the launch & did imaging up until about a year ago. Josh took it over & was the "real" master behind the great imaging!!! I understand why they did what they did but it's still sad. Best of luck to the KXOJ staff...you guys will do well. BTW, I still don't know who KXOJDJ is. ::)
