As I have been reporting under assumed names over the past couple months, before I kept getting the boot. I have told ya'll that US99 is undergoing some big changes. And as always I am right. I mentioned that when the Big 'J" got the boot that the pot would start to be stirred, and it has.

Lisa Dent has successfully managed to squeeze herself into mornings and win the hearts of listeners and CBS bosses everywhere. Meanwhile poor old Raymond has no home, it has been invaded and once again he is playing second fiddle, to a woman no less!

Now for the part I predicted. With midday’s wide open for anyone’s taking, US99 has graciously handed the prestigious slot to none other than Nashville hotline honey Trish Biondo. As I told this forum, a woman would take the position and she did. This is certainly Not the 3some Ray had intended.

So, where does this leave Ray? Well I will tell you. About 30 seconds away from the job boards. It has been rumored that Ray is reaching out to his sources in Nashville and South Carolina for radio leads.

My next prediction is that Ray will be out by the New Year and we will see a woman replace him. I think this could be a new trend starting in radio. Hell, Kathy and Judy are doing it?!? ughhhh

‘til next time!

While they probably will give the midday slot to Trish...my understanding is that it has not happened yet. For USN to place another woman in that daypart is bad programming. Lisa had such a stranglehold on that daypart for so long they need something completly different to succeed. In addition Trish is not a good music jock. She's great as part of a morning show, but she's very flat to listen to. I've heard from about twenty people that agree. She's not fun to listen to. Lisa was fun. Drew Walker is fun. John and Ray were fun. Trish is not. She's just boring!

I agree about Trish. But CBS is known for BAD programming. And this will top the cake.
