The Last Face......

I'm sure Julie "The Empress" Kahn and Jason "Hokey" Wolfe will find it easy to shell out
$500 for Howie's induction dinner into the radio hall of fame (read: EXPENSE ACCOUNT)

Now, I understand that college radio may have economics all their own, but I've been to Award banquets/dinners/conventions/trade shows etc in three different industries, and every one was on
an expense account.

Just what do you find unusual or untoward about this one? Do you think other radio management types are going on their own nickels? If you were in their position would you do otherwise?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
TSB

I know, I'm just givin' them the needle. And it is $500, see the RHoF site. I would hope that
Entercom allows Howie to bring the missus and the kiddies along on their dime, too...but yes,
Jason and Julie are prob. all smiles that Howie won that prestigious award. It's enough to make
you forget they hired The Felon, too :)

Be sure to check out the spot-on analysis in the article from E.F. Maloney. Amazingly, he neglects to mention Entercom's free cash flow or the bear market that has pummeled most of radio and has other stocks like Cisco, Sun and Microsoft way down (20-50%) from the end of last year.

Gotta love the Herald citing him as an "Entercom Watcher" -That's like calling Shaughnessy a "Schilling Watcher"...I guess the author is holding up her end of the Herald's fine journalistic standards, as exemplified by the journalistic giants Heslam and Tomase.

Lather, rinse, repeat. Let's not forget copy-and-paste a picture available on a web site. Yawn.

Doesn't it get old being wrong all the time? The previous 19 predictions of gloom and doom didn't come true, so why should we believe you this time?
