the latest book.

So. i was just looking at the ratings.
I'm actually surprised that wcfb is number one. i actualy like that station. Sunnies numbers are on the rise.
i noticed that weus was not even on there from what i can see. rumba is beating nue. jams is beating out both xl and power. power amazing enough has halfway decent ratings.
Ok all, can't wait to see your thoughts... and a lot of ams are doing pourly in the market now except for flf and wdbo.

wow, wtks is 11th? when i left orlando about eight year ago, they were doing very, very well. They had stern as the lead-in back then, must have floundered since.

yes. when stern was fired from clear channel, that is when wtks starting taking a fall and has not come back since.
and as for the ratings? go to the ratings link on this site. that is where i got the ratings from :).

This is actually the highest it's been in a year. In Fall and Winter it was in 15th or 16th place IIRC.

Just wanted to mention that Arbitrons are also posted here on RI and on AllAccess as well...

I saw that WPOI showed up once again in our market's book. People must really like their all-80s fix, considering WPOI is a Cox jukebox.

WTKS. Bleh. Are we there yet? I think it reached it's destination a while ago and could use a ride back home now.

I think WHTQ will be the next station to anticipatively spike if they launch BTLS in '09 and people take to him over L&T.

Of course I also tend to think that without the topic of Arbitron releases, there really wouldn't be much of anything interesting to discuss in Orlando radio. But that's just my opinion.

Of course Lex & Terry beat the Monsters. Who the hell wants to listen to crap like "Drunky The Bear'", and one of the WORST voices in the history of radio, Dirty Jim??????

sounds like the monsters are on the way back to weekend morning shifts they have to pay for. drunky must have come onboard after i left orlando.

One reminder to the Arbitron mentioned on R&R Online is that those numbers are based on 12+. You don't take into account the actual demos that they're looking at. The breakdowns were pretty interesting. Not the greatest, but interesting. :-\

sounds like a valid opinion - doesn't seem to be much of a discussion going on here.

So Lex and terry beat the monsters? wow.

I know the (completely irrelevant) 12+ numbers are all a lot of you seem to have access to here, but are you seriously going to use the 6a-12a 12+ numbers to infer that a show targeting P18-54 during the 6-10 slot beat another P25-54 show in the 6-10 slot?

Now, I haven't seen the Orlando breakdown for the last book yet since it doesnt really affect me anymore.... but please guys....

If you're going to try and make a valid point about how well or how bad a station is doing the least you can do is qualify your statement with the particular station's rank (since R-I can't let you quote actual numbers) so that everyone can get a clearer picture of what you're talking about!
