Color photos of the XESS, XESDD, XEKTT and XHBCE transmitter sites.

In brief, Lazer points out that by Bonilla's own admission, XHBCE is operating from the peak of Cerro Grande, 1.55 miles away from the internationally agreed upon coordinates, and 1,706 feet higher than the authorized site.

Lazer is asking that Bonilla's Section 325(c) STA authority to send audio program material across the U.S./Mexican border to XHBCE, which expires on or about July 1, be denied renewal.

Complicating matters is that Bonilla has already admitted that XESS, XESDD, and XEKTT each use only one tower instead of two or three towers as required by international agreement, claiming that "slant wire" directionalization is being used to protect the U.S. However, the slant wire technique is not internationally approved.

Very interesting read. Do you have any info on XETRA 690? A site
that may have pictures of the towers and transmitter site. I know
CC is programing the station with the format they moved over from
KLAC. Fabulous 690. I have searched the net and have had no luck.
Thanks!
