The Legend 105.5 Classic Country

There’s way too many country stations these days 🤦🏻‍♀️
Not really. It's a successful and easily profitable format.

[Ignore the title and artist info that are showing for K-Jewel]

It's hard to believe Fresno didn't already have one! It's been 25 years since KFRE stopped playing country music and I just could be happier.
Are you talking about classic country stations or country stations in general? Because KSKS-FM is No. 4 in 12+ and is playing a Morgan Wallen song right now. I think that makes it a country station.

Country stations in General

There's a reason.. country stations are generally the most popular format across the country alongside news talk and in some markets, the biggest revenue generators

I was originally responding to brettbutlerisok's assertion that Fresno hadn't had a country station in 25 years, which obviously wasn't true, so I gave him a chance to clarify whether he meant a classic country station or any kind of country station, which is where SarahB jumped in. Anyway, Fresno is a decent market for country and a classic country format should have no trouble finding a demographic sweet spot.

Okay, I was obviously talking about classic country, sorry for the confusion.
As far a mainstream country, Fresno has two. That seems like the perfect number to me.
I wonder what is being underrepresented in the Fresno market that SarahB would like to see. Seems pretty balanced to me now, except for 3 sports stations, none of which serve Visalia/Tulare well.
