The Lex & Terry Dallas experiment (part deux) fails again!

How so? I'd say being #1 with your target demo in the 4 metro counties of Gainesville/Ocala is pretty good.

Wow....I wonder if they make $750 or even $1000 a month in Gainesville? That will sure pay their bills.

As for Jacksonville

M-F 6A-10A
12+
Bubba #5
L&T #8
X #9

M18-34
Bubba #1
L&T #2
X #3

M25-54
Bubba #1
X #4
L&T #7

How the mighty have fallen!!!!! And how long before Gainesville is their largest market?

M25-54 is a decent demo in large markets, but in smaller markets nobody buys that demo beyond beers, bars, strip clubs and auto parts. Car dealers used to buy it for pick-em-up trucks before they all went out of business.

Plenty of bars in Gville, but all they need to do to attract UF's 19-year old guys--oops, I mean 21-year old guys--is to unlock the doors each morning... don't need no stinking radio spots.

It gets worse for L&T, as seen here from the latest ratings from Orlando:

M25-54 6-10 a.m. M-F
#1 WCFB (Tom Joyner)
#2 WHTQ (Bubba)
#11 WJRR (Lex & Terry)

What you fail to state is they are down 40% from the Spring and 10% from last Fall in that same demo.

Bingo!

They also had a poor Sp08 and SU08, but were able to recover, only to slip again in this book. It's all about diary placement. They still have a good showing.

As a station (leaving L&T alone, for a moment) 104 got beat by a rimshot (101.3) and got whalloped by their principle competitor in male demos, the "Wind" triplets.

Can't be much fun trying to sell that one.
