A lot has changed since this posting. I wonder if they'll still be CHR of the year now that there's A LOT more up and down the dial trying their best to grab the CHR ear today in Toronto than there was at that time.

ALSO Kiss92&others have a stronger signal in various parts of Toronto than Z does, so it'll be interesting to see what happens in the next little while...

Not to "cheapen'' the award...but, . . . well,
it seems southern ontario (namely Toronto)
usually wins the #___-format of the year awards...

97.7 htz fm has won for rock...not toronto but close...
this year was CIDC...
certainly, back when CING/energy was on, they won;
im sure edge/cfny has won.....

also:
-the calgary station (power107)has (im sure) won,
-z95.3vancouver ... have to had won...at least, once...
[2] stations i only know based on rep...
. . are in big cities, w/ a budget.. within a country
that is smaller (in numbers) with the size of mega-tropolis'

is it me, or does the same cities/stations, "always" win
(maybe just mixing up the order) to not make it looked . . . fixed.!?

well, fixed is a bad term, but slanted..

i mean, the same here (states) is true...
the biggest, ny/la/chicago, always seem to get
the accolades..
