I'm in Disney World last week...first day there I'm visiting Downtown Disney for dinner. Couldn't decide between Rain Forest Cafe and Planet Hollywood so I was walking from one to the other to check out the menus when I heard a familiar voice. It was Lon Simmons, aka. The Lon Man previously with 95.1 The Fox and Star 98.9 here in Montgomery. I knew he wouldn't remember me, it's been at least 10 years since I had seen him so I didn't make a scene trying to get his attention. You could see Lon (who now had short hair, always remembered him with long hair) working in the DJ booth which is right above the path that weaves from one side of Downtown Disney, through Pleasure Island to the other side of Downtown Disney. Just thought it was interesting. Something to check out if you are ever in the Downtown Disney area in Orlando, FL.
