Some of my favorite schedules are those from earlier days when stations were affiliated with more than one network.
And that brings a question to mind: what stations took advantage of their multi-affiliations to create an extended prime time on a nightly basis? Do you have any schedules that would qualify?
A couple of examples:
WAPI (Now WVTM) 13 in Birmingham, Alabama, was affiliated with NBC and CBS (despite there being 3 commercial stations in town. It's a long fascinating story.) WAPI aired their late news at 11:00 PM despite being in the Central Time Zone, so Prime Time ran from 6:30-11:00 PM each night. 4 1/2 hours.
Close behind is KXGN in Glendive, Montana, which, most nights, aired the full CBS lineup from 6:00-9:00 PM and the last hour of NBC's prime from 9:00-10:00 PM. 4 hours of prime.
Does anyone have listings for other stations that regularly had an extended multi-network prime time?
