THE MAGIC OF CHRISTMAS!

I notice that the internet feed of WMJX is replacing a song or two in its internet feed of "The Magic Of Christmas." What are they thinking?

It could be possible that some of that music isn't available for licensing online?

Meanwhile, The Magic of Christmas soundtrack has been exactly the same since, I think it started around 1996 or so. I've been told its changed over the years, but I found a copy of the playlist online, and I think it was dated 1996, and it's still exactly the same for the most part. The only difference I noticed was that it used to be 18 hours and now it's 24.

Hmmm....that may be something that's necessary, especially with all the internet royalities controversy going on these days.

I think it's more likely that the odd song or two is in a different category than the regular music. Most streams are designed to pass audio in only the music/liners/jingles categories, but fills over everything else (commercials, etc.) with programming of the appropriate length.
