I'm a lifelong Memphian and have been really puzzled at some of the decisions made in radio the last 6 months. A lot of good personalities were let go, and I speak specifically of Marla Bryant and Chris Jarman. They have better personalities and talent unlike these new humps on 94.1, Greg and Dani. And why Marla's ex-partner the white, stiff, unoriginal, "director of rhythym" is still on the air is laughable. I think Jarman and Marla should start making demos and start campaigning for their own radio show! Picture this....Marla Bryant and Jarman as an afternoon radio team for 98.1, or a morning or afternoon team for 98.9 Kim FM. Or even KIX 106 to replace the lameness of Young and Elder, or even the River to replace "Mork and Mindy". How are they still on the air?????

They would work well together I think. Frayser (Marla) meets West Memphis (Jarman)!!. And you would have more of a local flavor that would connect with the everyday people of Shelby County! It could be the Mar & Jar show!!! What do y'all think!!!

I happen to think Mike and Mandy are one of the best shows in Memphis. They're a well seasoned show with great humor. Not wacky-zany-madcap, but major market AC. It's a very listenable, topical show. I'm sorry you weren't specific about your problem with them, Cheese.

My only criticism....You certainly don't need to be of model good looks to be on the radio....but maybe some should "de-emphasize" the photos on the web site. Bless their hearts.
