The Mark Davis National Show

Well I guess that it's been a while since I've listened to WBAP. I just now noticed that they're local from 11:00-noon. Is he still doing the national show after the WBAP local show?

Normally, yes. Yesterday, he stayed live locally from 11-noon to continue coverage of the explosions. Today, I believe he was leaving at noon for a long vacation weekend, so the national affiliates got a 'best of' for all 2 or 3 hours (not sure how long he goes for on his national show; 'BAP only carries the first hour of it so they can carry Limbaugh in its entirety.) FYI, a few years back, Limbaugh was tape-delayed for an hour to accommodate the much-missed hour-long WBAP noon news.

I think that Limbaugh is still on delay. Doesn't his show air from 12:00-3:00 Eastern time?

What, is he syndicated on two stations? Would love to see the list. Maybe Citadel will put him on their stations.

I'm pretty certain the Mark Davis national show is no longer in syndication -- the same with Larry Elder. I believe ABC cut the shows right around the same time, or shortly after the Citadel purchase went through.

Nah, looks to still be active...or else he's putting on a heck of an act for a "national audience" every morning at 11AM! Looks like the national component runs two hours. WBAP carries the first 45 mins then goes into Paul Harvey until the top of the hour. No idea how many affiliates Mark has, but I know ABC was originally pushing his and Mark Levin's shows together as a one-two punch for syndie sales.

Larry Elder is still on the ABC Radio Networks website, so I assume his show is still going.

FYI, despite the Citadel ownership, the network will retain the ABC name for at least one more year.

And, perusing the network site, seems they've brought back the "Z-Rock" name and are using it for a modern rock 50-song weekly countdown.

ABC Radio Networks has ceased syndication of The Larry Elder Show. Elder will continue hosting his afternoon program on KABC/Los Angeles.

While Davis's syndicated show is still on, I haven't listened enough to hear if it's live or Memorex. I have heard local content during the 11-12 hour recently on WBAP. It would not seem out of the realm of possibilities that his syndicated show will be discontinued as well.

This is kinda off subject but mark needs better bumpers. For a national show they're weak.

Ok this is something I am having a difficult time understanding. Ollie North and G. Gordon Liddy are 2 of the biggest scumsuckers in the history of this great nation. Liddy IS a convicted felon, Ollie would be one if it weren't for a technicality. Both attempted to cover up sordid doings of their presidents, and yet Hannity and his ilk attempt to portray them as "great Americans." Talk about revisionism. Then the same folks will slam Sandy Burger for his actions at the National Archives (which was also wrong and dirty). Hypocrisy at its finest.

According to KPLEX....everyone who works for WBAP (or likes the station probably) is a fascist. His left leaning politics is showing......AGAIN. I'm not sure how a concert for the families of the soldiers who are killed in Afghanistan and Iraq can be seen as a bad thing.....but I guess I shouldn't be surprised...considering the source.

gpzyzyzf is no doubt a libertarian,who has connections to WBAP. Oh well so what?? Its easy to have a concert for the the "troops"and wrap yourself in the flag, yet work against the principles of the flag such as G.Gordon Liddy and Ollie. After all you're a "patriot"right? More like a Brown shirt or black shirt,where if you disagree and have an opinion ,you are akin to being a traitor. The remark "Faces of Fascism" was not directed at Hal,but the line up of the "Non-singing stars". Using the troops and the flag is abysmal at best in manipulating opinion. Next thing you know Betsy Ross was a Chairperson of the GOP. You also have a former Speaker of the House who resigned in disgrace over profits he received,etc. from a book he wrote. The same thing he charged another Former Speaker of the House Jim Wright with and he was forced to resign! Hypocricy,ideology, and manipulation, is the central theme of this event. Its not the troops fault for the political mess ,and God Bless them,its those who supposedly lead them who are at fault.
