The Mark Larsen Worst Live Reads of 2007 Awards

I maintain that there is no such thing as a "good" live read, so it's really more a matter of filtering through the various LRs to find those with the worst copy, or the worst reading. My own picks for the absolute worst live reads from 2007 (encompassing all live reads aired in 2007, even those recorded in 2006 or 2005):

1. Erin Dimorenis- "Your Great Garage"

2. Greg Frelick- "Your Great Garage"

3. Paul Porter- "L.Z. Mahoney, Good Christian Man auto mechanic"

4. John Alessi- "Alessi Bakery"

5. Erin Dimorenis- "Kick the little lizard's tail car insurance"

6. David Ortiz- "Pizza Oven"

7. Ian Beckles- "It's Fungus"

8. Greg Frelick- "Washington Mutual"

9. Steve Deumig- "The Mattress Doctor is crazy"

10. Paul Porter- "Tampa Ice Hockey Classic"

11. Greg Frelick- "Poolside Leisure"

12. Erin Dimorenis- "Three Bar Enegery Bars"

I think the bottom line here is that Genesis needs to stop producing all their ads in-house and actually hire some professional voice actors for a change.
