Is this for real? I don't understand why what appears to be talk radio would air on a sports or music station. Actually, it appears to be an hour long television show which is then played on KISS 98.5, AM1400 Solid Gold Soul, and WGR Sports Radio 550.

It airs on channel 20 on television, which is known as Buffalo's "Public Access" channel.

"The Mary Davis Show is entirely funded by individual and community contributions." She promotes breaking laws from the episode that I heard. Well, as long as it's destroying someone else's flag.

Checking out her website, she lists her show as "Fair and Balanced" "No-Nonsense Viewers Choice" "Innovative Informative"

She also lists her address at Corporate Parkway, but the show appears to be recorded (video taped) somewhere else. Unless a radio station has video cameras?
 
This is a guess... Mary gives her show to the stations for free, and the stations run it because it takes care of their public affairs commitment.

I had to look this up, I get it's another government agency telling people something the government thinks they need to hear.

But now I'm wondering as what is considered a "public affair."

This is no different than talk radio as far as I can tell, albeit crazier, except she has guests instead of callers because it was recorded as a television show.
 
Knowledgeable sources say that she is a paid, part time employee of Entercom. She likely qualifies to some extent under EOE requirements and as a PA director of sorts. Sources says her show at times provides comic relief.
 
I was wondering how this could be a paid employee of the radio station. It turns out, the television and radio shows are different. Don't know if they are a different type of program or not, but the actual show is different.
