"The Megan Mullally show" canceled

M.J. said:
Never watched it, never was interested.

Wonder how many stations will replace it with more court shows.

Me neither, but TBS, which carried it in the mornings at 7:00 AM, has already replaced it with its upteenth reruns of Saved By The Bell.

On the subject of talk shows, how is Greg Behrendt, the talk show host with the spiked colored hair on WGN is doing? Is his show next on the chopping block? Besides that, what other cities carry his show?

TBS moved it from 8am to 6am about a month ago, except in Atlanta. According to MediaWeek, "Megan is tied with Sony Pictures Television’s The Greg Behrendt Show for the bottom spot in the genre, with a 0.8 rating in households and a 0.5 among women 25-54."

Let's see, the no talent host that nobody ever heard of versus the no talent annoying host who played an annoying character on a bad sitcom? That is a tough one! I'll be happy when both shows are gone. In the case of TMMS, it should never have been given the green light in the first place.

I must admit, its not a huge surprise it was canceled. ust by looking at it and trying to watch it I knew it wasent going to work.

WPHL-TV 17, in Philly aired this show and moved it to 3 AM daily many weeks ago because I guess of low ratings in the 4 PM time slot that the station put the show on previously .

Would old reruns of the Mike Douglas show get any ratings? I would love to see them. Maybe they could air on TV Land or American TV.

I never really thought Megan had a strong enough name to carry a talk show.

The Greg Behrendt Show is airs in the San Francisco Bay Area on KTVU FOX 2 at 9AM.

He is a great stand up comedian. Has a couple of relationship books out. Wrote and consulted for 'Sex and the City'.

I believe his show started out to be more about relationships. But as shows start out I am sure changes will happen.

How about "The Gill Deacon Show" from Canada?

(From the CBC website...)

Gill is the conduit for new ideas, other ways of looking at things, no matter how unusual or eccentric. Her warm and winning personality and curious nature allow for a free-flow of ideas, talk, tips and suggestions that will empower viewers to make choices that enrich their lives in surprising and creative ways. Gill's show kick-starts a dialogue with the home and live audience, asking all to participate in a daily discussion about their lives and the choices they can make to improve them.

I never really liked Megan Mulally's character on Will and Grace, so I definately did not like the talk show. By the way, how is Dr. Keith Ablow doing in the raitings? I think he's much better than Dr. Phil.
