Can't believe no one has mentioned this. Captain Steve announced last week that the station will be moving into a new state-of-the-art studio near the new convention center in Coralville next year.
Hmmm...I am guessing no one mentioned it because NO ONE CARES. A rinky dink operation like that station moving is like "Jerry the whino" from down the street moving to a different dumpster. And what is "state of the art" to some, is a radio board that finally has sliders rather than pots and cart machines from the 1980s instead of the 1970s. Congrats on making the move Captain Steve! You're the best!
I have not connection to any of you eastern iowa people - but I think I speak for most of us on this board when I say - Stickman, why don't you just take your negative comments and stick them up you know what.
Steve is talking out of his arse.
The City of Coralville have many doubts about this possibility ever happening.
Plus, won't KCJJ have to go through all kinds of federal regulations to move their towers, etc?
